Stand-up comedy has taken over a great deal of my life. I started performing here in Los Angeles about five years ago, and since then, I've hosted and produced one of the top comedy shows in town and done stand-up all over the country at a variety of comedy venues. Most recently, I performed in Las Vegas at the Riviera Hotel Comedy Club, and was interviewed by the Las Vegas Sun about my life as a computer consultant and comedian. Here in Los Angeles, you can can see me regularly at the Hollywood Improv where I host the New Faces show every two weeks, and at venues all around town. If you'd like to be kept up to date on my schedule, please e-mail me at andrew@bitboy.com and I'll put you on my very low-volume mailing list.
I've been watching stand-up comedy almost as long as I've been pushing bits, and in my comedy, I focus a lot of my attention on the subtleties and entertainments of technology and the nerd lifestyle, from Fry's Electronics to the joy of Slashdot. I can make a nerd blow his Jolt cola right through his nose, because I've been in the trenches. Sysadmin, network manager, tech support, training users, I've done it all, and I have stories to tell. If you'd like to have me do comedy for your gathering of nerds and techies, please let me know at andrew@bitboy.com.
